Not all surfaces bond the same way. Low surface energy plastics, textured materials, and dissimilar substrates resist standard adhesives. Add road vibration, temperature cycling, and UV exposure and the margin for error shrinks further. When the wrong tape meets the wrong condition, bonds fail in the field — and warranty claims follow.
ICS evaluates every adhesive tape application against the substrate it's bonding, the environment it's operating in, and the stress it's under. Temperature extremes, NVH, surface energy, humidity; all of it gets factored into the diagnosis. From there we spec the right adhesive solution for each specific application and condition.
